I view therapy as an opportunity to assist in the development of skills and abilities to help individuals achieve their personal goals. I see my work with my clients as a partnership of respect and understanding knowing that every experience is unique and therefore each individual is the expert of their needs. Making sure that each individual has the space to fully express themselves and be heard is a main priority in my practice. I understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship and building rapport to help you feel the most comfortable in our time together. In my sessions I tend to use humor, but I also respect the need for seriousness when discussing certain topics. In therapy, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to accommodate the different needs of each client such as, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Behavioral Therapy.
